We carry u-bolts and hardware, pins, bushings, hangers and shackles. A properly measured u-bolt is the diameter of the rod, A, (from ⅜” up to 1 ¼”) by the distance between each leg, B, (from 1 ¾” up to 6”) by the length of the leg, C, as well as whether the top of the u-bolt is round, square or semi square.
Never reuse u-bolts. A properly installed u-bolt will stretch. We recommend that u-bolt nuts be checked once a trailer has been used a few times or, in the case of vehicles, after about 500km.
